Management Team

Brent brings years of experience in the Cased Hole E-Line industry, running E-Line Units since 1974. He was the Canadian Operations Manager and Technical Manager with a significant industry competitor before co-founding Independent Wireline Inc., which was acquired by Bonnetts Energy Corp in early 2006. Brent continues to provide a wealth of knowledge for our E-Line division as the Operations Manager for Conventional and Specialty and is active in field activities, conducting field audits, providing on-the-job training, and ensuring employees are E-Line competent.

Ryan started in the wireline business in 2001; working with a supplier gave him a ground-level introduction to the industry. Upon gaining knowledge of the tools in the wireline field, he moved on to become an operator on an e-line unit and quickly moved up to a supervisory position. He became proficient at leading many types of wireline operations and providing a vast array of perforating, logging, and mechanical services there. After serving as a Field Supervisor with Bonnetts for 11 years, Ryan moved into his current role as Operations Support Manager in 2014. Ryan is uniquely qualified to serve as an Operations Manager due to his extensive field and leadership experience in the wireline industry and in-depth knowledge of Bonnett’s operations.

Thomas started his wireline career with Plains Perforating in 2001. After holding various positions, from Junior Operator to Senior Supervisor to Cased Hole Support Manager at a competing wireline company, Thomas joined Boreal E-line in early 2017. He brings years of field experience and operational support to the conventional division.

Barry started his wireline career with Plains Perforating in 2000. After holding various positions from Operator to Sr. Supervisor to Base Manager at a competing wireline company, Barry joined Boreal E-Line in 2018.
